President's Pondering
Hi Everyone,
Thank you to all those who were able to make it to the AGM.
Thank you to those on the Executive who have agreed to continue for another year,
with thanks to Todd who has agree to be the new Society Secretary and Gord who is
taking on the website.
I'm sure we all wish to thank Linda for her many years of amazing work as she now
steps down as the Society Secretary.
As discussed at the AGM we won't be doing a show this year and hope to be able to
run another in 2027. For anybody who is interested there is a show locally on the Island the Pacific Brant
April 11th & 12th
We have agreed to the following demonstrations at Britannia Shipyards this year, they
will happen in the newly refurbished Boat Building. If you are able to volunteer to attend on any dates please let Becks know.
The dates are:
May 24th
June 7th
Maritime Festival August 23rd all day
and
September 20th
Please note we are Carving this Wednesday the 25th February but due to school bookings and Spring break with are only at the School on the 11th for the whole of March,
returning on the April 1st:
February 25th - Carving
March 4th - No carving
March 11th - Carving
March 18th - No Carving
March 26th - No Carving
April 1st - Carving
